The International Antarctic Centre is showcasing its new movie experience, ‘Ice Voyage’, a 4D movie that involves an all-round total sensory experience, and allows the audience to feel part of a real Antarctic storm.

Christchurch’s beautiful Botanic Gardens are also open to the public and at this time of the year are full of rich autumn hues. Definitely worth a visit!

The Ferrymead Heritage Park is re-opening at Easter and the Canterbury Museum is also hoping to open soon. The Christchurch Art Gallery, which has been used as a command centre for Civil Defence since the earthquake struck, will re-open to the public this winter.

Canterbury Museum

Housed in an exquisite historic building, Canterbury Museum is world renowned for its natural and human history collections. Adrenaline Forest

This adventure park features an aerial obstacle course up to 20 meters off the ground, six pathways of progressive difficulty, about 2km in length and covering four hectares of forest.
